SIGLENT Technologies releases new Spectrum Analyzer Series

SIGLENT SSA3000X19 January 2016 - SIGLENT Technologies introduced its newest member of the X-Instrument family, the SSA3000X Series Spectrum Analyzer series. With its optional tracking generator (up to 3.2 GHz), bright and easy-to-read display, and high-accuracy / high-resolution measurement capability, the SSA3000 series spectrum analyzer is designed to test and analyze signals in the 9 kHz to 2.1 GHz / 3.2 GHz range. As the newest member of SIGLENT’s X-Instrument family the SSA3000X feaatures a 10.1-inch WVGA(1024x600) wide screen display and user-friendly interface.

The SIGLENT SSA3000X series of spectrum analyzers adopt all-digital IF technology and present a minimum resolution bandwidth (RBW) as low as 10 Hz. The ‘3000Xs come equipped with a standard built-in preamplifier and achieve a -161 dBm / Hz displayed average noise level (Typ.) for excellent small signal measurement capability. With a noise figure specification of -98 dBc/Hz (@ 10 kHz offset) (1 GHz, Typ.), the total amplitude accuracy is <0.7 dB, resulting in more accurate and reliable measurements than other models in its class.

With a variety of advanced measurement functions (opt.), the SSA3000X Series can automatically and accurately measure the channel power, adjacent channel power ratio, occupied bandwidth, time domain power and other parameters. SSA3000X can be equipped with a reflectometer bridge (opt.), supports reflection measurements and acquires the characteristic curve of the return loss / VSWR. The SIGLENT SSA3000X Series also comes with an EMI filter and quasi-peak detector option with limits template following CISPR 16, to aid in performing quick and easyI pre-compliance EMI testing in the laboratory.
