Combination of Device Programming and Test in Production05 June 2014 - GOEPEL electronic announced the extension of the in-line production system RAPIDO. The new features represent further development for the product family, already with a 2 year track record of success, and allow even greater production throughput and minimization of errors in testing and programming in production.
Agilent Technologies names Jay Alexander as Chief Technology Officer of Keysight Technologies04 June 2014 – Agilent Technologies announced that Jay Alexander has been named Keysight Technologies’ chief technology officer. Agilent announced in September 2013 that it would separate into two publicly traded companies in 2014. Agilent’s Electronic Measurement Group is expected to begin operating as Keysight Technologies in August 2014. Alexander’s appointment is effective immediately.
Bit Error Rate Tester for 100G Optical Receiver04 June 2014 – Tektronix introduced the BSA286CL BERTScope Bit Error Rate Tester. The BSA286CL is designed for the low intrinsic jitter and precision impairments required for testing a broad set of 100G communications standards including OIF-CEI, CAUI, and InfiniBand Standards.
Real-time Spectrum Analyzer an RF Recorder03 June 2014 - Signal Hound announced the Signal Hound BB60C, successor to the popular Signal Hound BB60A. The Signal Hound BB60C is a real-time spectrum analyzer and RF recorder. It has significantly enhanced performance compared to the BB60A. The BB60C has a frequency range of 9 kHz to 6 GHz, an instantaneous bandwidth (IBW) of 27 MHz, and the ability to sweep the RF spectrum at 24 GHz per second. It costs just $2,879.
Ultra-compact Vector Signal Generator for Production Tests03 June 2014 - Rohde & Schwarz presents its new R&S SGT100A, the smallest and fastest vector signal generator with up to 6 GHz, specially optimized for use in production test systems. Using its internal baseband generator, the instrument reliably produces test signals for various digital standards. The R&S SGT100A combined with the R&S FPS signal and spectrum analyzer yields the ideal solution for production tests of high-frequency components. Discontinuous Disturbance Measurements with EMI Receiver02 June 2014 – Agilent announced the addition of disturbance analyzer capabilities as a standard feature of its N9038A MXE EMI receiver. For those who need to make discontinuous-disturbance, or click, measurements, the MXE simplifies and automates data collection, analysis and report generation in accordance with CISPR standards 14-1 (emissions) and 16-1-1 (measurement apparatus and methods).
Ultra-low Jitter/Dual Clock Synthesizer02 June 2014 - Noise eXtended Technologies (Noise XT) introduced the 2 MHz to 7 GHz SLC Ultra-low Jitter/Dual Clock Synthesizer. The SLC is an affordable single or dual clock USB synthesizer with outstanding jitter in a small package. With a noise floor of -170 dBc/Hz at 10 MHz, the SLC has the lowest phase noise of any synthesizer in a compact, low cost package. The SLC measures just 85 x 110 x 200 mm. More Articles ...
