News - Board and System TestTest Tool for CCC Digital Key Certification Program11 January 2024 - The Car Connectivity Consortium has just announced its CCC Digital Key Certification. The aim is to create global interoperability for digital key applications for vehicles and mobile devices through uniform standards, validated test tools and certified test labs. Comprion provides the validated CCC End-to-End Interoperability Test Tool for NFC. The Comprion Digital Key Test Tool is based on the Comprion Hardware CL Verify A and includes an End-to-End Interoperability Test Suite. eCall testing in EMC test environments08 January 2024 - Applus Laboratories and Rohde & Schwarz have successfully showcased the seamless integration of eCall testing in an electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) test environment. The demonstration illustrated different eCall testing scenarios and capabilities in compliance with the UN ECE R10 standard, which regulates automobile-related EMC. As part of the planned update to the UN ECE R10 standard, different eCall testing immunity scenarios had been developed to enhance the safety of drivers, passengers, and other road users. Compliance with UN ECE R10 is crucial for vehicles equipped with eCall systems and ensures the systems do not interfere with other electronic components in the vehicle and are not affected by external electromagnetic interference. AXI Platform for large Boards20 December 2023 – Test Research, Inc. (TRI) unveiled its latest innovation, the Large Board X-ray Inspection Platform, TR7600F2D QL. This cutting-edge system sets a new benchmark in X-ray inspection technology, catering to the evolving needs of large board applications, especially in automotive and telecommunications electronics manufacturing. The AXI TR7600F2D QL inspects large boards measuring up to 2100 x 510 mm. The High-Resolution platform is capable of inspecting with resolution ranges from 5 to 25 µm, ensuring precision and accuracy in defect detection for multiple applications. 5G FR1 A-GNSS OTA Test Solution approved by CTIA Certification13 December 2023 - The R&S TS8991 over-the-air (OTA) test system from Rohde & Schwarz is the first to be approved by CTIA Certification for testing 5G A-GNSS antenna performance. This solution measures the performance of the global navigation satellite system (GNSS) receiver in a wireless device. This is critical because Assisted-GNSS is used for E911 emergency calls over 5G. The latest Test Plan for Wireless Device Over-the-Air (OTA) Performance Version 4.0.x from CTIA Certification added 5G FR1 EN-DC to the existing A-GPS L1 OTA specification. The previously published Version 6.0.x added 5G FR1 SA, A-GPS L5 and A-Galileo E1, which are soon to start the CTIA Certification validation process. Luxoft and MicroVision join Forces to enhance ADAS automated testing11 December 2023 - Luxoft, a DXC Technology Company teamed up with MicroVision to set the foundation for a new generation of testing and simulation environments. Luxoft has found a company which perfectly complements its end-to-end validation toolchain — through this collaboration, Luxoft can offer clients an out-of-the-box solution for end-to-end validation and testing. GOEPEL Electronics strengthens its US Team07 December 2023 - The US branch of GÖPEL electronic announced the addition of Mr. David Kalaidjian as the new National Sales Development Manager.
