News - Board and System TestEnd-to-End IQ Capture and Playback System14 November 2023 – Anritsu Company, has partnered with AnaPico AG, in response to the growing demand from customers need for instruments to capture RF signals of interest over the air and then play them back from vector signal generators. The Anritsu IQ Signal Master MX280005A PC application has been enhanced to integrate the capture of RF IQ signals using the Field Master Pro MS2090A spectrum analyzer and then to load the IQ data file into the AnaPico VSG for playback at any frequency up to 40 GHz. The seamless process of IQ data capture and playback is ideal for in depth testing of the response of receivers to a wide range of signals. Automotive SENT SPC Decoding for Oscilloscopes10 November 2023 - Pico Technology, a provider of PC-based oscilloscopes and data acquisition solutions, is pleased to announce the addition of the SENT SPC Protocol Decoder to the PicoScope 7 toolset. The new decoder enhances the automotive testing capabilities of the widely acclaimed PicoScope range of oscilloscopes. SENT (“Single Edge Nibble Transmission”) and the superset SENT SPC (“Short PWM Code”) protocols are widely used in automotive applications. Display Testing at high and low Luminance Levels09 November 2023 – Instrument Systems developed the new LumiTop X20 and LumiTop X30 imaging colorimeters especially for display production testing under special luminance conditions. The LumiTop X20 and X30 feature high camera resolution (20 MP and 31 MP respectively) and improved dynamic range from mcd/m² to Mcd/m². Both cameras are based on the spectrally optimized LumiTop principle, which has proven to be a powerful tool for quality assurance of displays. Using them, display manufacturers are able to perform tests at very high luminance in the range of several Mcd/m² as well as low luminance in the range of 0.001 cd/m2 to 0.1 cd/m2, taking into account the adaptation of the human eye to dark and bright lighting conditions. Scenario-Based Testing of ADAS/AD08 November 2023 – Vector Informatik presented Release 8 of DYNA4, the simulation software for virtual test driving. The focus is on the new scenario engine, which now natively supports the ASAM standard OpenSCENARIO 1.2 as input format for the description of complex test drive scenarios. Thus, DYNA4 offers scenario-based testing of vehicle control functions with seamless integration of the ASAM standards OpenSCENARIO, OpenDRIVE and OSI. Extensively modeled scenario catalogs are thus consistently reused throughout the entire ECU development process and across various simulation execution environments. WLAN Tester to Support Wi-Fi 707 November 2023 – With the launch of devices based on the new Wi-Fi 7 communications standard, there is already a growing demand for test instrumentation that can evaluate them. To meet this need, Anritsu Corporation introduces a new Network Mode option for its MT8862A Wireless Connectivity Test Set, allowing the instrument to evaluate the Wi-Fi 7 signal quality of devices under test. MIPI C-PHY and D-PHY Analyzer and Generator06 November 2023 – Teledyne LeCroy announced the availability of Envision X14 Analyzer and Generator for MIPI C-PHY/D-PHY and CSI/DSI, a comprehensive test solution designed to aid developers incorporating MIPI Camera Serial Interface 2 (CSI-2) and Display Serial Interface 2 (DSI-2) designs at either C-PHY rates up to 6.0Gb/s or D-PHY at rates up to 9.0Gb/s. The Teledyne LeCroy Envision X14 single-box test solution covers all CSI-2 and DSI-2SM protocols. HV Breakout Module for Analysis of AC Charging Processes31 October 2023 - As an extension of the HV Breakout Module (HV BM) product portfolio, CSM GmbH presents the HV Breakout Module 3.1 OBC for worldwide analyses of the AC charging processes of electric and hybrid vehicles. For this reason, the module is designed for currents of up to 88 Arms (±125 A). Due to the integrated star connection, one- to three-phase measurements are possible with this HV-safe (per EN 61010) measurement module. A high sampling rate also provides precise measurements during switch-on and switch-off processes. More Articles ...
