New Wiring Validation Software makes testing faster, easier

04 December 2013 – CableTest Systems announced the launch of its newest software product, ‘MPT Studio’, a powerful user and programmer environment for its market leading ‘MPT’ line of multi-function electrical wiring analyzers. MPT Studio makes it easier for first time users of automated test equipment to perform complex testing of cables, connectors, and wiring systems with menu-based test programming, new high speed test functions and visual aids for product troubleshooting. 

MPT Studio adds a fully-updated browser-based user interface and LUA-based programmer’s environment that can be controlled by PC, tablet, smartphone or Manufacturing Execution System (MES). 

Focused on ease-of-use, MPT Studio is compatible with the latest MES technologies, and can be operated on both its existing MPT and newly released MPT II wiring analyzers.  CableTest President, Roman Pankiw notes that “Manufacturing globalization requires our products to integrate easily with customers’ IT infrastructure and be operated by a wide range of users with different skill sets.  By launching MPT Studio, we have significantly improved MPT test performance, and the way users interact with our industry-leading MPT line of wiring analyzers.”
