News - General T&MFanless Multi-Range DC Power Supply23 January 2023 - GW Instek introduced the PFR-100 series, a small and high-performance programmable DC power supply, which adopts natural convection design to dissipate heat. The fanless structure allows users to focus on their experiments and tests in a quiet environment. Fanless power supply will not suck in dust and foreign objects, therefore, PFR-100 series has a longer life cycle compared with that of power supplies with fan. Portable Multi-Gig USB-to-Ethernet Adapter17 January 2023 – Vector presents its compact multi-gig USB-to-Ethernet adapter VN5601. The adapter is not only high performing, its compact dimensions make it ideally suited for portable use. It also offers easy connection to Vector hardware. This new adapter can be used for standard Ethernet IEEE 2.5GBASE-T as well as IEEE 1000BASE-T. The new VN5601 provides the user with a small, compact, portable adapter for simulation and test tasks as well as network analysis in an Ethernet environment. Eight programmable Test Instruments in one Box16 January 2023 - Saelig Company introduced the ABI Multiple Instrument Station MIS4 Test Station, an all-in-one testing tool that combines in a compact case all commonly required test instruments in one programmable hardware module. Controlled by ABI’s sophisticated SYSTEM 8 Ultimate PC software with a simple yet programmable operator interface, the MIS4 combines eight laboratory instruments: a 3-channel 350MHz digital storage oscilloscope with sophisticated triggering options and automatic measurements, a 1.1GHz frequency counter and three 350MHz counters, a 14-bit dual-channel 25MHz arbitrary waveform function generator, a fully floating ammeter, a fully floating voltmeter, a fully floating ohmmeter, a multi-rail 4-channel power supply, and 8 programmable I/O channels to cover almost any test and measurement need. The MIS4 Test Station can be used with any PC or a compatible laptop, connected via USB. Tunable Band Reject Filter covering sub-6-GHz Mobile Bands11 January 2023 — Ranatec, a part of the Qamcom group and supplier of specialized test and measurement equipment for RF and microwave applications, added a new, state-of-the-art band stop filter for RF test and measurement to its product portfolio. First of its kind on the market, the Ranatec RI 268 tunable band reject filter covers all sub-6-GHz mobile bands, channel bandwidths and all sub-7.125-GHz Wi-Fi channels. The benchmark new RI 268 provides comprehensive coverage of all sub-8-GHz channel plans for design verification, product certification and product testing. Source Measure Unit for Supply of up to 3A and 200V09 January 2023 - The all-in-one Aim-TTi SMU4000 Series source measurement solution features powerful 4-quadrant PowerFlex technology for use in industrial product development and educational environments, battery charging/discharging tests, I-V characterization, and semiconductor work. Waveguide thermal Power Sensors with LAN Interface19 December 2022 - For precise RF power measurements in V, E and W waveguide bands, Rohde & Schwarz added new members to its R&S NRP thermal power sensor family. The new R&S NRPxxTWGN models have LAN interface for more flexible connectivity with TCP/IP technologies, including stand-alone PCs, remote access or cloud systems. Since R&S NRPxxTWG thermal power sensors were launched in 2018, they have had the highest precision available for frequencies from 50 GHz to 110 GHz when measuring RF power with WR-10, WR-12, or WR-15 waveguides. Wideband Power Measurement Sensors for Frequencies up to 50 GHz06 December 2022 - Rohde & Schwarz added a new model to its standalone wideband sensors for power measurements of the R&S NRPxxP family. The R&S NRP50P is the latest model and engineers can now measure power levels from –60 dBm to +20 dBm at frequencies from 50 MHz to 50 GHz. The sensor is ideal for installing, maintaining and monitoring wireless communications systems. More Articles ...
