News - General T&M40V Multi-Range DC Power Supply Series08 September 2022 - GW Instek added a 40V output voltage selection to the existing PSW series product line. The company introduced three new models featuring power capacities of 360W, 720W and 1080W. After adding these three new models to the family, the PSW series now has a total of 18 models with rated voltages of 30V, 40V, 80V, 160V, 250V and 800V, and maximum output powers of 360W, 720W and 1080W respectively. Inheriting all the advantages of the PSW series multi-range programmable switching DC power supply, the new 40V models make the voltage/current combination under the existing rated powers more flexible. Unique open Test Lab for Communication Technologies in Switzerland06 September 2022 - Anritsu and its authorized Swiss distributor YOTAVIS AG have launched the Swiss Communication Competence Center (SCCC), an open telecommunication test laboratory that allows companies and engineers to test new products and innovations for quality, performance, and compatibility. The laboratory, located in the Switzerland Innovation Park in Biel/Bienne, offers an extensive range of measurement equipment, as well as a team of telecommunications technology specialists. These facilities allow to conduct a wide variety of measurement tasks within the neutral and confidential confines of the SCCC. PMBus Decoding with Oscilloscopes02 September 2022 - Pico Technology released a Power Management Bus (PMBus) decoder to their database of free serial decoders. The PMBus decoder tool is available in PicoScope 7 (Early Access) to decode, display and analyze smart batteries and power supplies. PMBus is a serial communications protocol aimed at the configuration, control, and monitoring of power supply devices. It’s built on top of the proven foundation of the SMBus, which is a low-cost, two-wire bus derived from I2C. 100 MHz Battery-Powered Automotive Oscilloscope30 August 2022 - Saelig Company introduced the Micsig SATO1004 Automotive Tablet Oscilloscope with 4 channels, a bandwidth of 100 MHz, an easy-use touchscreen operation and a comprehensive set of vehicle diagnostics. With its signal sample rate of 1 GSa/s, 32Mpts memory, 1GSa/s sampling and up to five hours of mobile use the SATO1004 is a powerful, professional, and affordable vehicle testing tool. Instrument Systems extends its Core Business Segments25 August 2022 - Instrument Systems, a German manufacturer of high-precision spectroradiometers, cameras and complex display and light measurement systems, has extended its core business segments Display Testing and Optical Measurement through the acquisition of a Korean manufacturer of display measurement systems. A share purchase agreement has been signed to acquire a 100 % shareholding in Kimsoptec Co., Ltd. (Kimsoptec), a display measurement equipment manufacturer and exclusive distributor of the Instrument Systems product portfolio in Korea since 2005. IEPE Signal Conditioner for Oscilloscopes22 August 2022 - Pico Technology launched a signal interface box for piezoelectric sensors. The TA487 IEPE Signal Conditioner is an interface that allows industry-standard IEPE (integrated electronic piezoelectric) sensors to be used with any oscilloscope or data acquisition device with BNC inputs. The device is powered from any USB port, using the cable supplied, and provides a 4mA constant current source to power a connected IEPE sensor. Optical Spectrum Analyzers with wide Wavelength Range16 August 2022 - Yokogawa launched two new optical spectrum analyzers (OSAs) to fulfil market demands for an instrument capable of measuring a wide range of wavelengths to meet new needs in optical product development and manufacturing. The Yokogawa AQ6375E and AQ6376E are the only grating based OSAs covering SWIR (Short-Wavelength InfraRed) over 2 μm and MWIR (Mid-Wavelength InfraRed) over 3 μm with world class optical performance. Building on the pedigree of Yokogawa’s AQ6375B and AQ6376 OSAs, the new OSAs are offered in four versions. More Articles ...
