News - General T&M300W Power Sink Option for programmable Power Supplies27 September 2023 - TDK Corporation introduced a Power Sink (PSINK) option to the 1.7kW and 3.4kW models of the TDK-Lambda GENESYS+ series of high-power density programmable DC power supplies. Capable of absorbing and dissipating up to 300W of peak power and 100W continuously, the PSINK can provide up to 25 times faster down programming speeds, with fall times of just 12.5ms, even under no load conditions. Versatile Data Acquisition System26 September 2023 - Saelig Company added the GWInstek DAQ-9600 Data Acquisition System - a modularized, customizable data acquisition system with great flexibility and precise performance - to its product portfolio. A built-in precision 6 1/2 digital DMM is the core of this test and measurement system. The mainframe can receive up to 3 optional modules to match exact datalogging needs by choosing appropriate collection modules that make data-gathering simple, fast, and reliable. Five module choices can meet tasks in R&D, product performance characteristics, system testing, and fault diagnosis. Digitizer Cards for 4.7 GHz Signal Acquisition and Analysis25 September 2023 - Spectrum Instrumentation extended the M5i flagship series of high-speed PCIe digitizers, adding two new models with ultrawide bandwidths that go up to 4.7 GHz for -3 dB attenuation or even 5 GHz for -5 dB attenuation. The models M5i.3360-x16 and M5i.3367-x16 provide one and two channels respectively. Each card is capable of sampling at rates up to 10 GS/s, with 12-bit vertical resolution, specifically designed to deliver the most accurate acquisition and analysis of signals in the GHz range. NI expands Capabilities of the third Generation Vector Signal Transceiver20 September 2023 – NI announced new options and extended capabilities for its third generation PXI Vector Signal Transceiver (VST), the PXIe-5842. Combined with NI’s software ecosystem, the PXIe-5842 is a versatile tool that can be used to test and validate products in aerospace and defense applications while supporting traditional RF capabilities such as spectrum analysis, signal analysis, and signal generation. Economical 12-bit Oscilloscope Series19 September 2023 - Saelig Company, Rigol’s USA technical distributor, introduced the Rigol DHO800/900 Oscilloscope Series, Rigol's newest high-performance 12-bit economical digital oscilloscopes. Not only are they very portable, but they offer the high-resolution needed today, based on Rigol's "Centaurus" technology platform. With a capture rate up to 1,000,000 wfms/s (in UltraAcquire Mode), and 25/50Mpts memory depth, the ultra-low noise floor of these scopes allows the detection of even small signal details. Oscilloscope with automated Hardware-accelerated Analysis Tools18 September 2023 - Keysight Technologies expanded its portfolio of Infiniium oscilloscopes with the new, hardware-accelerated Infiniium MXR B-Series, offering automated analysis tools that enable engineers to find anomalies quickly and shorten time to market. Built-in, automated test tools and hardware-accelerated analysis produce results at least 60% faster than most competitors. The MXR B-Series also offers eight instruments in a single benchtop solution that conserves both bench space and budget. RF Signal Generator for Signals up to 40 GHz15 September 2023 - SIGLENT released the SSG6000A Series RF Signal Generator, a performance instrument for cutting-edge testing of microwave and millimeter waves with wide frequency range, excellent signal spectrum purity, high accuracy, and large power output. It is not only an ideal local oscillator and clock source, but also a high-performance analog signal source suitable for applications in R&D and production. The SSG6000A signal generator is built to deliver outstanding signal purity across a broad frequency range of 100 kHz to 40 GHz, even at high output power levels. More Articles ...
