News - General T&MAWG generates up to 20 independent Sine Waves26 March 2024 - Spectrum Instrumentation released a new firmware option for its range of versatile 16-bit Arbitrary Waveform Generators (AWGs) with sampling rates up to 1.25 GS/s and bandwidths up to 400 MHz. The new option allows users to define 23 DDS cores per AWG-card, that can be routed to the hardware output channels. Each DDS core (sine wave) can be programmed for frequency, amplitude, phase, frequency slope and amplitude slope. This enables, for example, the control of lasers through AODs and AOMs, as often used in quantum experiments, with just a few simple commands - instead of making large data array calculations. The DDS output can be synchronized with external trigger events or by a programmable timer with resolution of 6.4 ns. Stackable High Voltage Measurement Modules21 March 2024 - KLARIC launched its new MULTI-HV measurement module family, which is specifically designed for use in high-voltage environments up to 1,500V and offers versatile measurement capabilities for current, voltage, temperature and more. The modules are ideal for use in the automotive industry, particularly in the field of electromobility, and support both CAN and Ethernet interfaces. 16-bit Function/Arbitrary Waveform Generators19 March 2024 - Rigol's newest high-performance 16-bit RIGOL DG800 Pro and DG900 Pro Function/Arbitrary Waveform Generators series are cost-effective function/arbitrary waveform generators that combine multiple functions including Function Generator, Arbitrary Waveform Generator, Noise Generator, Pulse Generator, Harmonic Generator, Analog/Digital Modulator and Frequency Counter. The Rigol DG800 Pro/DG900 Pro feature up to 625/1250MSa/s sampling and 2/16Mpts/ch memory depth with 16-bit precision. Data Analysis Software with Wizards and other Tools15 March 2024 - imc Test & Measurement, an Axiometrix Solutions brand, released the new imc FAMOS 2024 data analysis software. imc FAMOS 2024 delivers user experience enhancements and extensive updates to its powerful data analysis features for engineers, researchers, and technicians. New features include the Start Page, where users can launch and customize numerous FAMOS wizards and tools; a new data analysis function directly within the curve window, useful for quick evaluation while handling large data sets and advanced formatting options for polar diagrams. 5½ Digit Digital Multimeters with 7” Touchscreen13 March 2024 - Saelig Company introduced the Rigol DM858/DM858E Digital Multimeter Series, which provide cost-effective benchtop test measurement capabilities for electronics technicians. They feature 5.5-digit resolution, a maximum of 125/80 readings/s, a data logging memory of 500,000/20,000 points, and 0.03%/0.06% DCV accuracy (1 year). 11 measurement functions are available for input signals, including DCV, DCI, ACV, 2-/4-wire resistance, frequency, period, continuity, diode, capacitance, and sensor measurements, as well as 5 Math operations, and 3 graphical display types. Compact 4x4 Matrix for Frequency Testing12 March 2024 - Ranatec, a part of Qamcom Group and progressive creator of test and measurement equipment for RF and microwave applications, extended its product portfolio to include the Ranatec RI 3041 4x4 Butler Matrix. Targeted for testing at frequencies from 2.4 to 8.0 GHz, the next generation Butler Matrix 4x4 delivers widest operational bandwidth available on the global market and is the latest Ranatec innovation empowering leading electronics manufacturers to perform the enhanced testing. Three new 12-Bit Oscilloscopes Series08 March 2024 - SIGLENT launched three new series of oscilloscopes designed to improve signal fidelity, visualization, and analysis. These latest additions complete the lineup of oscilloscopes of Siglent, each equipped with advanced 12-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and designed for signal quality. With bandwidths ranging from 70 MHz to 4 GHz, Siglent’s high resolution oscilloscopes now provide outstanding signal fidelity for a wide range of applications including power, EMI, frequency analysis, embedded design, and failure analysis.
