News - General T&MPXI Multi-Channel DC Source and Arbitrary Waveform Generator28 September 2012 – Geotest announced the introduction the GX1649, a 64 channel, PXI arbitrary waveform generator with 16 - bit amplitude resolution. The GX1649 offers the highest channel count in the industry for a PXI DC / AC source and features a wide output voltage range of +/- 15 volts. The GX1649 is a 3U PXI digital to analog output board designed specifically for applications where multiple DC or AC analog outputs are required. “The GX1649 meets the needs for those customers who have high channel count applications for sensor simulation or for system test applications where a large number of DC/AC signal sources are required,” said David Manor, Geotest’s vice-president of engineering. “The GX1649 offers market leading features and demonstrates Geotest’s on-going commitment and ability to deliver unique and differentiated PXI products for the test and measurement market.” The GX1649 is a single slot, 3U PXI module and is supplied with a a full featured API and user interface for a variety of software development environments including ATEasy, C, Visual BASIC, COM, and LabVIEW.
