News - General T&MVJ Electronix introduces Benchtop X-ray System16 December 2013 — VJ Electronix debuts a new low-cost, easy-to-use X-ray inspection system – the X-Quik. The X-Quik is a small, general-purpose X-ray system for inspection of items such as electro-mechanical devices, sensors, molded parts, mail parcels and biological samples. With a size of just more than two feet cubed and a low, affordable price point, the X-Quik is well suited for engineering labs, machine shops and quality control departments for a wide variety of applications. With simple “Click to Scan” operation, there is no training required. A variety of image formats may be exported via wireless communication to desktop PCs, tablets or even mobile phones. Available image analysis tools include data archival, image annotation, automatic contrast optimization and digital zoom. Some of the image output formats include BMP, JPG and DICOM. The X-Quik is a self-contained X-ray cabinet system designed and tested to exceed federal and international safety standards. An 80 kV mono-block source and LDA detector provide maintenance-free operation. Related Articles: |
