LeCroy announces new 12Gb/s SAS Protocol Analyzer

23 May 2012 - LeCroy announced the addition of the Sierra M124 12Gb/s Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) Protocol Analyzer platform to its leading Sierra protocol analyzer line of products; supporting protocol testing and debugging of all 12Gb/s SAS and legacy SAS storage interfaces. As the datacenter continues to explode with increasing storage complexities, the Sierra M124 12Gb/s SAS Protocol Analyzer and 12Gb/s SAS specification, enables SCSI device manufacturers to meet these demands and provide a more seamless path forward from legacy implementations.

All LeCroy protocol analyzers feature a hierarchical display, real-time statistics, protocol traffic summaries, detailed error reports, powerful scripting, and the ability to create user-defined test reports which allow developers to troubleshoot intricate problems and finish their projects on time.

The Sierra M124 is scheduled for first customer shipment in June, 2012.
