Siglent launches new Function/Arbitrary Waveform Generator

Siglent-SDG80031. March 2014 - SIGLENT launched a new economic Function/Arbitrary Waveform Generator SDG800 series. Combining with SDG5000, SDG1000, Siglent presents a complete product line of waveform generator under 200 MHz. As a cost efficient version of the SDG1000, SDG800 inherits main features from SDG1000, including the EasyPulse technology, and can be widely applied in electronic function test, environmental signal simulation, scientific research and education.

The SDG800 series can output TTL signal when output a waveform. By the means of input external triggering signal, SDG800 can control the output of waveform. Also SDG800 can support output of AM, DSB-AM, FM, PM, FSK, ASK, PWM, pulse string,Linear output/logarithmic frequency sweep.

SDG800 is equipped with powerful Easywave editing software, with a variety of draw mode, synchronously wave editing function, and waves of ASCII .CSV files identification. Easywave software can recur waves captured with Siglent oscilloscopes and send this to the signal source for output, enabling data sharing between oscilloscope and signal generator.

EasyPulse technology is an algorithm of pulse generation innovated by Siglent. Based on this new technology, the SDG800 can generate pulse of low jitter, quick rising/falling edge regardless of frequency effect, and the duty cycle, edge and pulse width can be widely and finely adjusted.
