Real time Math Function

10 March 2011 – Yokogawa announces the /G3 Real Time Math Option for its DL850 ScopeCorder and DL850V ScopeCorder Vehicle edition. Using real time math, thirty available functions can be applied to all input channels can including multiplication, division, integration, functions related to power measurement, motor analysis, encoder, mechanical displacement, and more.

In addition to the math functions, the /G3 option equips the instrument with a complete set of flexible digital filters to isolate or block certain frequency components that are present in the input signal.

Because the /G3 real-time math is built on dedicated DSP hardware, real-time trigger conditions can be set based on the result of DSP or digital filter functions.  Furthermore, roll-mode acquisition and display of computed channels is supported, rather than having to wait for an acquisition to complete.
