QuadTech acquired by Chroma Systems Solutions

19 January 2012 - Chroma Systems Solutions, Inc. (CSS) announced the acquisition of primary assets of Massachusetts-based QuadTech, Inc., a provider of electrical safety test equipment and systems. CSS, located in Southern California, is a complete solutions provider of power electronics testing instrumentation and systems.

Established more than 20 years ago, QuadTech achieved strong business growth and forged strong relationships with their customer base distributing products manufactured by Chroma under their brand. QuadTech, which now will operate entirely under the Chroma brand, will be led by Chroma Systems Solutions’ President and CEO, Fred Sabatine.

“We are pleased to announce our new partnership with QuadTech, a world renowned company with an excellent knowledge base in the electrical safety test market,” says Mr. Sabatine. “The two companies provide distinct areas of expertise and share many positive attributes, including maintaining a high standard of engineering knowledge with the sales teams and providing great customer care. We are confident this acquisition will contribute to our commitment to exceed customer expectations for cost-effective test equipment, service and support and allow Chroma to become better known to a wide range of new customers."

With this acquisition, QuadTech employees join Chroma Systems Solutions in providing sales and service of Chroma’s comprehensive line of electrical power test instrumentation and automated test systems, as well as safety testers throughout North America including new products targeted at emerging commercial and defense markets, solar, EV/Automotive and LED.
