News - Service/Maintenance TestMulti-Function E1/Datacom Tester24 November 2011 - GAO Tek Inc. has launched its full-featured E1/Datacom tester designed for the installation, acceptance testing and daily maintenance of digital networks. The multi-function E1/Datacom tester performs channel tests, alarm analysis, fault location and signal analysis. It also provides various protocol converters with one-way and bi-directional bit-error-rate (BER) test functions. GAO Tek Inc.’s E1/Datacom tester, model A0020006, has E1 bit error rate testing capability and offers out-of-service BER testing, in-service framed and unframed testing, round trip delay measurement, APS delay measurement, frequency, clock slip and level measurement. The Datacom testing function allows it to carry out ASYNC BER testing, SYNC BER testing, SYNC clock source and sense selection, handshaking signals control and monitoring. This versatile E1/Datacom tester also shows high capability in octet timing control and monitoring, E1 frame data monitoring, ITU-T G.821, G.826, and M.2100 performance analysis, self-check and keyboard testing. The portable E1/Datacom tester is equipped with a high resolution backlit LCD and offers smart navigation menu. Extensive error and alarm generation, detection and indication make the testing work more easy and efficient to be completed. It is able to save and recall up to 10 user-defined setups and 10 sets of results; test results can be uploaded, conserved and printed through the included software. The embedded software is upgradable via an integrated RS232C interface. This easy-to-use multi-functional E1/Datacom tester belongs to GAO’s family of E1/Datacom Testers. The family also includes a featured product Portable E1/Datacom Transmission Analyzer which is designed for performing comprehensive analysis, measurement and evaluation of telecom networks. The two testers are very popular among telecom test engineers due to its multiple functions, high portability and reliable performance. www.gaotek.comRelated Articles: |
