13 August 2025 – Anritsu announced a significant enhancement to its MT8000A Radio Communication Test Station, expanding the platform's 5G device measurement capabilities to include support for 5G NR NTN (Non-Terrestrial Network) devices. This advancement enables comprehensive testing of devices designed to communicate via satellite networks. Non-terrestrial network technology represents a breakthrough in addressing connectivity challenges across previously unreachable areas, ranging from mountainous terrain and remote islands to disaster-stricken regions. The NTN technology enables reaching areas where conventional communication infrastructure is unavailable.
12 August 2025 – Teledyne LeCroy announces the availability of its PCI Express 5 ULTRA Test Solutions, now supporting both PCIe 5.0 and PCIe 6.0 for NVMe SSD validation and compliance. Validate PCIe 5.0 SSDs today and seamlessly transition to PCIe 6.0 validation using the same appliance — requiring only minimal additional investment. OakGate’s ULTRA solutions empower validation engineers to assess functionality, performance, and compliance under real-world traffic conditions.
31 July 2025 – Anritsu Corporation has developed and launched new software options for its Radio Communication Test Station MT8000A, designed to evaluate the radio frequency (RF) performance of 5G devices such as smartphones. These options support key technologies specified in 3GPP Release 17, including 1024QAM modulation for downlink and Tx Switching 2Tx to 2Tx for uplink, enabling accurate and flexible evaluation of 5G devices with enhanced transmit/receive (TRx) performance.
30 July 2025 – Vector is expanding its proven development and test environment CANoe to include support for the communication standard DDS (Data Distribution Service). CANoe.DDS allows users to simulate, analyze, and test DDS-based systems seamlessly within the familiar CANoe environment. The new option is now available and targets developers and testers of distributed systems in the automotive, medical technology, and Industry 4.0 sectors. CANoe.DDS can be used to quickly simulate DDS participants (Domain Participants), adopt existing IDL descriptions, and automate complex tests via CAPL, C# or Python. The graphical display of DDS and Ethernet communication in the Trace window, along with the simple configuration via a text-based language, makes work much easier.
29 July 2025 - Romanian system integrator Alfa Test and German manufacturer GÖPEL electronic have entered into a partnership for the joint delivery of boundary scan solutions. The background to this is the growing demand for contactless electrical test methods based on chip-embedded instruments among manufacturing companies in Southeast Europe. Many well-known European electronics manufacturers have their production facilities here, with ever-increasing integration density and increasingly complex PCBA. Together, the providers now want to offer powerful and integrated test solutions that are tailored to customer requirements.
