29 January 2025 - REGATRON introduced the G5 power supply family. The basic idea is to integrate from a single up to 6 units G5/54 kW devices into a common cabinet to cover the power range from 54 kW up to 324 kW and system voltages up to 3000 VDC. The standardized design has the advantage that the entire wiring on the mains side, including the main switch, is fully integrated and a sophisticated conductor design on the DC side allows the type of circuit (parallel, series or matrix) to be changed at any time to adapt the DC voltage or current range. A whole selection of useful options completes the new products.
28 January 2025 - Yokogawa Test & Measurement Corporation released AQ7420 high-resolution reflectometer. Utilizing OLCR (optical low-coherence reflectometry) technology, the AQ7420 is ideal for the internal structure analysis of optical modules and the visualization of microcracks in optical connectors. It provides a spatial resolution of 40 µm and exceptional back reflection measurement sensitivity down to -100 dB or lower, with no spurious noise. Combined with the optional sensor head unit, users can measure insertion loss simultaneously alongside back reflection, making the AQ7420 a highly efficient and cost-effective reflectometer for optical market applications.
27 January 2025 – Anritsu Corporation released enhanced software functions for its Signal Analyzers MS2830A/MS2840A/MS2850A. These enhancements enable the analyzers to extend the spectrum measurement frequency range to encompass the millimeter-wave band by connecting VDI or Eravant external mixers.

24 January 2025 - Mycronic has acquired Modus High-Tech Electronics GmbH, a German-based provider of automated optical inspection systems for electronics volume production. Modus was founded in 1999, has 18 employees and more than 1,650 scanners and 650 camera systems in service. Net sales in 2023 amounted to 4 MEUR. The company provides solutions for automated optical inspection of coating, soldering, and components within printed circuit board assembly. Modus has also developed solutions for fuel cell inspection.
23 January 2025 - Interference or malfunctions caused by electromagnetic interference (EMI) are potentially safety-critical, particularly in the automotive sector. Interference can not only lead to false alarms in safety functions such as the airbag system, brake assistance or steering, but also to dangerous malfunctions. This is why the EMC test (electromagnetic compatibility) is an indispensable measure, especially in the automotive sector, to ensure that electronic components in vehicles work reliably and safely under real conditions.
