16 December 2024 - Effective November 1, 2024, Markus Fischer, currently Executive Vice President Operations, has been appointed to the Rohde & Schwarz Executive Board. As Chief Operating Officer (COO), he will collaborate with Christian Leicher (CEO) and Andreas Pauly (CTO) to continue to keep the company on course for growth in these challenging times. With Markus Fischer (44), Rohde & Schwarz has once again bolstered its top management team from within the company's own ranks.
13 December 2024 - Siglent released the SDG1000X Plus series Function/Arbitrary Waveform Generator, providing engineers with a more flexible and efficient signal generation solution. This series offers a maximum output frequency of 60 MHz, 16-bit vertical resolution, 1 GSa/s sampling rate and 8 Mpts arbitrary waveform length. With PRBS signal generation (up to 40 Mbit/s), multipulse mode and many other functions, the SDG1000X Plus is a versatile device in any development laboratory.

December 2024 - Siglent introduced the SDS7604A H12 6GHz High-Resolution Oscilloscope, with 12-bit resolution, 1Gpt memory depth per channel, a sample rate of up to 20GSa/s, matched with a large 15.6’’ HD display capacitive touch screen. The SDS7604A H12 combines low noise, high DC gain accuracy, and >60dB channel-channel isolation. The SDS7604A extends SIGLENT’s high-resolution mixed-signal analysis solutions to 6GHz. 09 December 2024 - The EA-PSB 20000 Triple series is the first triple-channel, bidirectional DC power supply, capable of delivering high-density, parallel testing for components in complex systems. Each of the three independent channels can supply up to 10 kW of power, supporting a range of voltages up to 920 V and currents up to 340 A. The series allows customers to consolidate multiple testing setups into one, reducing cost, equipment needs, and test time. It also features autoranging, which automatically adjusts the voltage or current to deliver full power across a wide operation range, allowing a single unit to handle various voltage and current combinations.

06 December 2024 — Rohde & Schwarz enhances its portfolio of entry‑level oscilloscopes with the R&S RTB 2, the successor to the popular R&S RTB2000 oscilloscope. In 2017, the R&S RTB2000 set a new standard in its class, with features such as touchscreen operation and 10‑bit vertical resolution – capabilities previously only available in higher‑end instruments. Now, the R&S RTB 2 continues this legacy, offering additional features and enhanced performance in a new color scheme.
