13 November 2024 – Anritsu Corporation announced full support for 5G and LTE Next Generation eCall (NGeCall) validated test cases on its 5G NR Mobile Device Test Platform ME7834NR enabling GCF certification. eCall is a European initiative designed to provide rapid assistance to motorists involved in accidents. It uses an In-Vehicle System (IVS) equipped with sensors that, when triggered (e.g., by airbag deployment), automatically place an emergency call to the pan-European Emergency Number 112. Along with the voice call, essential data such as location, passenger count, and vehicle direction is sent to the PSAP. Since March 31, 2018, all new M1 (passenger cars) and N1 (light-duty) vehicles sold in the EU must be equipped with eCall capability.

12 November 2024 - B&K Precision announced the 1820B Series Universal Frequency Counters, compact instruments designed for versatile frequency measurements. They’re equipped with a high-quality temperature-compensated internal frequency reference to provide exceptional stability and accuracy, with a low aging rate of ±1 ppm across the entire temperature range.
11 November 2024 - With many years of experience in probe card testing, Seica has designed and developed the Pilot VX HR XL platform, a flying probe system that offers a comprehensive, turnkey solution for testing probe cards that will be on display premier at Semicon Europe, Hall C2 Booth 160. This vertical system combines hardware and software in a single platform to perform three different types of tests: testing individual MLO and PCB boards before assembly, in-circuit (ICT) and functional testing of PCBs after assembly, and final testing of the probe card, which involves combining the PCB with the MLO.
08 November 2024 - Saelig Company Iintroduced the Rigol DG5000 Pro Series Signal Generators with up to 2.5GSa/s sampling and 64Mpts/ch memory depth (128Mpts/ch optional). The three models in the DG5000 Pro series are DG5252 Pro (250MHz), DG5352 Pro (350MHz), and DG5502 Pro (500MHz). The isolated dual-channel DG5000 Pro Series are all-in-one generators that integrate Function Generation, Arbitrary Waveform Generation, Noise Generation, Pulse Generation, Harmonics Generation, and Analog/Digital Modulation. They can be powered from an attached battery pack to provide ground isolation and facilitate field test situations.
07 November 2024 - Green hydrogen is key for the energy transition. Electricity generated from renewable sources is converted into hydrogen through electrolysis, stored in tanks, transported, and used anytime, anywhere. PC-based control from Beckhoff can be used to automate a wide range of applications relating to the production, storage, transportation, and use of hydrogen. Precise measurement technology plays a vital role here.
