23 October 2024 – Anritsu Corporation introduces an option that evaluates the RF transmit and receive characteristics of 2x2 MIMO as defined in IEEE 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) for its Wireless Connectivity Test Set MT8862A (WLAN Tester). With this new expanded capability, the MT8862A supports to measure the receive sensitivity and transmit power of devices supporting Wi-Fi 7 2x2 MIMO, using the Network Mode, which allows devices to be evaluated under real-world operating conditions, thus helping to improve the communication quality of WLAN-equipped devices.
22 October 2024 - Rohde & Schwarz showcased a proof‑of‑concept for testing far‑field wireless power systems at the IEEE Wireless Power Technology Conference and Expo (WPTCE) in Kyoto, Japan. The radio frequency (RF) wireless power tester developed by Rohde & Schwarz utilizes the company’s test and measurement equipment along with wireless charging development kits available on the market. It also includes test automation features and a user‑friendly web interface. With this setup, Rohde & Schwarz supports the AirFuel Alliance RF Standard.

21 October 2024 — Fluke Corporation launched the iSee Mobile Thermal Camera, a pocket-sized, portable thermal camera with the resolution to deliver detailed image quality comparable to professional cameras, with full temperature range analysis. Utilized by inserting the hardware into a smartphone, the iSee Camera detects heat output, which can highlight abnormal temperatures easily and efficiently. Prioritizing the worker, the portability of the iSee camera is particularly beneficial for roles that require accurate thermal imaging from a safe distance or on the go.
