News - General T&MKonrad Technologies appointed Vice President & General Manager30 September 2016 - Konrad Technologies, a provider of PXI based automated test solutions announced that David Loadman, previously Vice president of Sales at National Instruments, was appointed to join Konrad board of directors as Vice President & General Manager. Frequency selectable RF Power Sensor for up to 70 GHz26 September 2016 – Anritsu Company introduces the Power Master MA24507A, an ultraportable, millimeter wave (mmWave) power analyzer that enables simple, numeric, frequency based measurement of RF power from 9 kHz to 70 GHz. The world’s first frequency selectable RF power analyzer, the Power Master MA24507A leverages Anritsu’s patented Shockline technology to address test requirements in mmWave applications, including test of 802.11ad, Wireless HD, and E-band products, at every stage of the product lifecycle. Teledyne LeCroy previewed HV Fiber-Optically Isolated Probe22 September 2016 – Teledyne LeCroy previewed the new HVFO high voltage fiber-optically isolated oscilloscope probe at the IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Expo (ECCE) 2016 exhibition in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA). The HVFO is an affordable, optimally designed probe for measurement of small signals floating on a HV bus in power electronics designs. Optical isolation between the probe tip and the oscilloscope input reduces adverse loading of the device under test (DUT); and also reduces noise, distortion, ringing, overshoots, and transients on the measured signal. AR Europe extends Product Portfolio for High Voltage Tests21 September 2016 - AR Europe launched several new high voltage test products: the EFT 700x series intelligent electrical fast transient simulator, the high voltage-power intelligent lightning surge coupling/decoupling network SPN 15100T and the EFTN 15100 T Burst Coupling/Decoupling Network. PXI Thermocouple Simulator20 September 2016 - Pickering Interfaces introduced their first Millivolt Thermocouple Simulator Module. The PXI Thermocouple Simulator Modules (series 41-760) are ideal for simulating the operation of a thermocouple. They are available in a choice of 8, 16, 24 or 32 channels—each channel providing a low-voltage output across two connector pins capable of providing ±20mV with 0.7µV resolution, ±50mV with 1.7µV resolution and ±100mV with 3.3µV resolution, covering most thermocouple types. LXI Digitizers with 24 fully synchronized 16 Bit Channels16 September 2016 - Spectrum has expanded its popular LXI-based digitizerNETBOX series by releasing eight new DN6.49x instruments offering from 24 to 48 fully synchronized channels. The instruments are ideal for applications where a large number of signals need to be acquired and analyzed with speed and precision, such as with sensors, detectors, rectifiers, antennas and other electronic devices. Economical Waveform Generator for Square Waves up to 60 MHz08 September 2016 – Siglent Technologies released the SDG1000X family of function / arbitrary waveform generators. The SDG1000X series of generators come with 196 different built-in arbitrary waveforms. The SDG1062X series can output square waveforms up to 60 MHz (30 MHz on the SDG1032X). This is unique in this economy class of waveform generators. More Articles ...
