News - General T&MHigh-Speed, Multi-Channel, Long-Term Recording14 September 2011 - HIOKI E.E. CORPORATION announced the launch of the MEMORY HiCORDER MR8875, a compact, touch panel-equipped recorder whose high-speed, multi-channel, long-term recording capabilities make it ideal for use in the field. The MR8875 designed for use in applications such as onboard testing of automobiles and other vehicles, and maintenance and management of manufacturing equipment. Its screen combines a high-resolution, super-bright 8.4-inch TFT color LCD with touch panel for intuitive operation, dramatically improving the convenience of work in the field. Reflecting the thought given by designers to ease of use in automobile driving tests, the instrument complies with JIS automobile vibration standards, and multiple available plug-in input modules can be combined to accommodate the needs of various measurement applications. The instrument can also be powered by a car battery, allowing data to be recorded without regard to location, and it provides interfaces for a variety of recording media, combining real-time, long-term recording capability using an SD memory card with standard LAN and USB ports. Applications
Advanced Features Improved ease of use in the field thanks to a TFT color LCD and touch panel The MR8875 is specifically designed for external use, for example in onboard vehicle testing and equipment maintenance and management applications. The exceptional visibility of its high-resolution, super-bright 8.4-inch TFT color LCD ensures the screen is easy to see even in bright surroundings, and its touch panel delivers intuitive operation. Measurement data can be evaluated on site. Compliance with JIS automobile vibration standards Because it is designed for use in the harsh environment of vehicle and automobile driving tests, the MR8875 complies with JIS automobile vibration standards. (JIS D 1601:1995 〈5, 3(1)〉, Class 1 passenger vehicles; conditions: Class A) Multiple plug-in units that can be combined to accommodate a range of measurement applications Four available plug-in units allow the MR8875 to be used to measure voltage, current, strain, temperature, and accept CAN output. Units can be combined to accommodate the needs of various measurement applications. MR8904 CAN Unit for gathering automobile driving data The MR8904 CAN Unit can be used to measure CAN data, making the MR8875 an especially effective tool at automobile development sites. A range of power supplies for the freedom to take measurements in any location A range of power supplies is available for the MR8875, reflecting its position as an instrument that is ideal for use in the field. In addition to accommodating an AC adapter as well as 12 V DC and 24 V DC power supplies, the instrument can also be powered by a car battery, ensuring its ability to take measurements in any location. The MR8875 can record data in real-time for extended periods of time to SD cards. It also features standard USB and LAN interfaces so that you can use the recording media that best suits your particular measurement environment. www.hioki.co.jpRelated Articles: |
