RF Amplifiers with Output Powers of 4-200W and Frequencies up to 18GHz

27 February 2024 - Saelig Company introduced the Elite RF’s MB Series RF Amplifiers. These are wideband linear power amplifiers designed for CW signals and fabricated with a GaN-on-SiC process. With output powers of 4W to 200W and operational frequencies from 20MHz up to 18GHz, these amplifiers offer high power density, decade bandwidth performance, low thermal resistance, and wideband performance. They can be used for a wide range of military and commercial applications and come with a 3-year warranty.

Elite RF's solid-state RF Power Amplifiers are popular solid-state Class AB RF power amplifiers (SSPAs) that offer power gains ranging from 32dB to 48dB. They can function in either Continuous Wave (CW) or Pulsed Mode and, with available saturated power of up to 200W, can cater for a wide range of requirements. Applications extend seamlessly to both narrowband and multi-octave bandwidth scenarios, making them highly suitable for a wide array of uses in EW, commercial and military radar, communications, industrial, scientific, medical, and laboratory settings.

The Elite RF MB series is available as modules (28/50VDC) and rackmount cases (100-240VAC) that come with or without a display. The high-power 19” rack mount versions provide ultra-linear power over the specified bandwidth and are ideal for high-power test setups and applications that include communications, radar, EW, industrial, scientific, medical, etc. These ruggedly designed amplifiers provide stability with built-in self-protection against reverse polarity and overheating. The modular aluminum alloy housing version features an internal power supply, heat sink, fans, and N-connectors.

Elite RF MB Series is a Class AB RF linear power amplifier range that utilizes LDMOS or GaN technology to achieve excellent gain, efficiency, reliability, operating in CW mode. This series offers flexibility to manage SWaP-C demands for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) availability.
