News - General T&MNew Version of Measurement Software DASYLab20 January 2022 - measX launched a new major release of the measurement software DASYLab. The 2022 release offers a whole range of new functions as well as small and large improvements. "We are very pleased with the new version. It makes the daily work for our customers a good deal easier and more comfortable.", says Holger Wons, DASYLab expert at measX. High Voltage Scalable LXI Matrix for up to 300x4 Connections14 January 2022 - Pickering Interfaces launched the 65-218, 50x4 1-pole LXI matrix plug-in modules. These modules may be used in conjunction with Pickering's 65-200-002 LXI modular chassis to form a scalable, high voltage matrix platform that enables the construction of matrix sizes up to 300x4 in steps of 50x4. Available in two variants, capable of delivering cold switching to either 400 VDC or 750 VDC (1 kV pulse) with up to 2 A (switching and carrying) and a maximum switching power of 60 W, the single-pole matrix modules use high-quality electromechanical relays offering a long service life. Tektronix enhanced existing 5 Series Mixed Signal Oscilloscope13 January 2022 -- Tektronix launched a new version of its 5 Series mixed-signal oscilloscope (MSO). The new B version includes several updates, such as a new auxiliary trigger input that lets users synchronize the oscilloscope to an external signal without consuming any of the 4, 6, or 8 full-capability input channels. For the optional, built-in arbitrary/function generator, the maximum frequency output increases from 50 MHz to 100 MHz, enabling higher frequency stimulus for measurements such as Bode plots and impedance measurements. These new capabilities are invaluable for making fast, thorough checks of power integrity on power distribution networks. RF Peak Power Sensors featuring 100 ps Resolution23 December 2021 - B&K Precision announced the RFP3000 Series RF Peak Power Sensors. Each sensor utilizes real-time processing and enhanced hardware triggering to capture even the most elusive signals. The sensors, in combination with the included Power Analyzer software measure pulsed, burst, and modulated signals. These signals are found in commercial, and military radar, electronic warfare (EW), wireless communications (e.g., LTE, LTE-A, and 5G), consumer electronics (WLAN including Wi-Fi 6), as well as education, and research applications. Marvin Test Solutions announces Release of ATEasy 202122 December 2021 – Marvin Test Solutions announced the release of ATEasy 2021, the latest iteration of its integrated Test Executive and Development Suite. ATEasy 2021 is a full featured software development environment and integrated test executive used to automate the test and evaluation of electronic devices, boards, subassemblies and systems. First released in 1991, and currently deployed in test and measurement applications worldwide, this latest release delivers improved execution performance, updated user interfaces, code beautification and support for 64-bit software components. New 100 MHz DSO with 4 analog Channels13 December 2021 - B&K Precision add a new entry-level oscilloscope to its product spectrum. The 2194 provides the advantage of a high bandwidth oscilloscope bundled with the latest features at a low price point. This model delivers 100 MHz bandwidth in a four-channel configuration with a maximum sampling rate of 1GSa/s and a maximum memory depth of 14 Mpts. In addition, the 2194 includes features that users have come to expect from today’s oscilloscopes such as segmented acquisition, FFT operation and serial bus decoding support for I2C, SPI, UART, CAN and LIN protocols. Dual Screen Oscilloscope with 5GHz Bandwidth06 December 2021 - Rigol launched the dual screen DS70000 Ultra Vision III oscilloscope based on a new capture chipset featuring 20 GSa/s. The DS70000 Series is part of the StationMax program and uses the new Phoenix ASIC platform to achive higher sample rate, increased memory depth, faster waveform capture rate and better vertical resolution. The new Phoenix analog front-end chipset was developed by Rigol. More Articles ...
