News - General T&MKeysight and Samsung sign MoU on Research and Development of 6G Technology31 March 2022 - Keysight Technologies announced that the company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Samsung Research to advance research and development of 6G technology, the next generation of wireless communication. Keysight joined forces with Samsung, a pioneer in the delivery of end-to-end solutions for wireless infrastructure and mobile devices across multiple generations, to support the company's 6G vision of a hyper-connected world. Ron Nersesian, current President and Chief Executive Officer of Keysight, will be retiring after a long and successful career with the company, but will continue as Executive Chairman of the Board. Arbitrary Function Generator with up to 1 GHz Bandwidth23 March 2022 - SIGLENT Technologies introduced the next instrument in its Performance Series. The new two-channel arbitrary function generator is offered in three bandwidths: 350 MHz, 500 MHz, and 1 GHz. The two independent channels can be combined via menu control to simulate interference on the main signal or to easily generate complex modulated signals. In addition to standard waveforms such as sine, square, triangle, and pulse, the generators in the series can output Gaussian noise with the device-specific bandwidth or with limited bandwidth. Power Supplies with very fast Output Dynamics22 March 2022 - TDK Corporation introduced a “Fast-Speed” option to the TDK-Lambda GENESYS+ series of programmable DC power supplies. Designed specifically for automotive test simulation, the -F suffix models provide very fast transient responses up to 35 times faster than the standard models. Rise and fall times of less than 1ms and 2ms respectively can now be achieved, providing reduced test times for an increased manufacturing test capacity. Software Bundle to help Engineers Optimize Test Systems21 March 2022 – NI (National Instruments) announced its Test Workflow subscription bundle for automating test systems. This offering expands engineers’ access to the software needed to design and automate a test or measurement system through a single software license. NI’s new Test Workflow bundle provides streamlined access to several software tools that increase productivity through a SaaS model. Battery Quality Testers to eliminate Battery Fires18 March 2022 - Hioki announced that in 2022 it will launch three new measuring instruments designed to detect latent defects in quality inspections on battery production lines.
