News - General T&MVector Signal Generator for Wideband Multichannel mmWave Applications21 June 2022 – Keysight Technologies launched a new four-channel vector signal generator, with frequency up to 54 GHz that offers up to 5 GHz of radio frequency (RF) bandwidth and low phase noise in a single instrument. Keysight’s new M9484C VXG microwave signal generator, expands the company’s VXG series portfolio with real-time capabilities to support demanding wireless industry applications. The M9484C VXG signal generator, with a V3080A vector signal generator frequency extender, expands the frequency range up to 110 GHz to address the needs for the latest and evolving standards. High-Voltage Oscilloscope Probe up to 10 kV16 June 2022 - Cal Test Electronics introduced the CT4432 High-Voltage Oscilloscope Probe, which has a 10 kV maximum voltage input rating and is cTUVus listed. The CT4432 High-Voltage Oscilloscope Probe enables the user to safely measure voltage levels up to 10 kV. With the Cal Test Electronics name and certification by cTUVus, the user can be confident this test accessory is both reliable and safe. The CT4432 is covered by a two-year warranty. Fluke opened new European HQ in Eindhoven15 June 2022 - Fluke announced the launch of its new European Headquarters in Eindhoven, Netherlands, which includes a 400sqm customer experience centre. For the first time, customers will not only be able to see Fluke’s range of tools, but experience using them in a variety of real-world applications. It has been described by Fluke Strategic support and training manager, Eric van Riet, as a dream come true. “What we wanted was for customers to experience our tools in an environment as close to reality as possible to show where and how our products are used, and provide the opportunity to deliver training,” he said. Rigol launched new Version of MSO8000 Oscilloscopes14 June 2022 - Rigol enhanced the MSO8000 high-performance digital oscilloscope family in order to make its use and operability even more pleasant and versatile. The MSO8000 series is part of the UltraVision II oscilloscope portfolio, which also includes the proprietary ASIC chipset. Improvements and new functions are available e.g. in the areas of web control, touch display, acquisition memory and coding options. Dual-Channel Digitizers with synchronous 3.2 GS/s, 12-bit Sampling13 June 2022 - Spectrum Instrumentation expands its leading-edge digitizer family with world's first digitizers to use the full 16 lane PCIe interface (Gen 3) for massive data streaming in this March. The cards can stream acquired data over the bus at a staggering 12.8 GB/s, which is a transfer rate nearly twice as fast as any other PCIe digitizer currently on the market. Now Spectrum Instrumentation has released a cost-effective variant, specifically designed for dual-channel applications. The new model boasts the same blistering streaming speed and matches it perfectly with synchronous 3.2 GS/s, 12-bit sampling on each channel. PXI & PXIe Precision Resistors for Resistive Sensor Simulation10 June 2022 - Pickering Interfaces added new models to its high-density precision resistor module family, improving sensor simulation accuracy. The updated 40-297A (PXI) and the new 42-297A (PXIe) modules are now available with additional resolutions - 0.125Ω, 0.25 Ω, 0.5Ω, 1Ω, 2Ω, 4Ω and 8Ω - extending the resistance range to 85.3MΩ on a single 6-channel module. The setting accuracy is now +/-0.1% +/-resolution (was +/-0.2% +/-resolution). These additional models allow our simulation products to address even more applications than before. LEM reinforces European Management Team as it prepares for Growth26 May 2022 – LEM announced a major step towards strengthening its position as market leader in innovative, high-quality solutions for measuring electrical parameters with the appointment of renowned power electronic engineer Michael Sleven as Managing Director of LEM Europe GmbH and Head of Sales for Germany.
