15 July 2024 - Chroma released its next-generation bidirectional DC power supply, model 62450D-2000HL, delivering single-unit power density of 45kW in a 4U high form factor. In an industry-first, the 62450D-2000HL enables one-key switching between two output ranges within a single unit, effectively providing the output range of two units in one. Users can easily switch between the high voltage (2000V/±60A/±45kW) and high current (650V/±180A/±45kW) range with a single touch, offering up to 8x wider output range capabilities to meet the testing needs of a diverse array of devices under test (DUT).
12 July 2024 – Vector Informatik and MdynamiX are now jointly offering test benches for steer-by-wire or conventional steering systems. Vector contributes its expertise in residual bus and vehicle dynamics simulation as well as realtime hardware. MdynamiX test bench components provide the finest steering feel feedback and capture objective key performance indicators (KPIs). The result is a compact and modular steer-by-wire test system that covers a wide range of requirements in a tabletop size.
11 July 2024 – Advantest announced that its SmarTest 8 system software, used to develop complex test programs for the company’s flagship V93000 SoC test platform, has been assessed Automotive SPICE Capability Level 2 compliant by Kugler Maag Cie of UL Solutions. This strategic designation, achieved following an intensive assessment process completed in February 2024, assures customers entering the automotive market of SmarTest 8’s reliability for embedded automotive applications.

10 July 2024 - Rohde & Schwarz has become the latest member of the recently formed AI-RAN Alliance. As a global leader in wireless testing, the company will contribute its T&M expertise to this new collaborative initiative, which aims to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into wireless communications to advance radio access network (RAN) performance and mobile networks. The membership marks a significant milestone for Rohde & Schwarz on the road to 6G and takes its ongoing collaboration with industry leaders on AI-native air interfaces to a new level.
09 July 2024 – After receiving approval from the British and Italian governments, Microtest Group, the Italian leader in the creation of test systems and in the testing of microchips on package and silicon wafers, announces the acquisition of ipTEST. ipTEST specializes in testing silicon carbide and gallium nitride semiconductors, with locations in Guildford (UK) and Ipoh (Malaysia), and reported €22 million in revenue in 2023, with a 50% increase in its highly specialized engineering and technical workforce, 60% of whom are under 45 years old.
05 July 2024 - Saelig Company, Inc. announced the Siglent SPD4000X Series 4-channel Programmable Linear DC Power Supplies. This series includes three models with output power of 240W, 285W or 400W. Offering a minimum resolution of 1mV/1mA on the four independent programmable outputs, two of the channels can be connected in series or in parallel by one-click to output more voltage or current; the SPD4306X can output 60V/6A in series, and SPD4121X can output 12V/20A in parallel. The 4-wire remote voltage sense function allows compensation of up to 0.6V to ensure the correct voltage is delivered to a device under test.
04 July 2024 - GOEPEL electronic added extended capabilities to the proven integration package combining the FLS 980Dxi flying probe tester from Acculogic with the Embedded JTAG Solutions. The automatic generation of interactive tests now provides real added value: measurements from movable probes of the FLS 980Dxi flying probe tester are actively integrated into Boundary Scan test. The SYSTEM CASCON software platform seamlessly integrates use of the Acculogic test system probes and is able to generate additional test patterns using these external access points.
