05 September 2024 - The chassis properties shape a vehicle’s character and ultimately also the identity of a brand. That is why Mercedes-Benz leaves nothing to chance, checking the chassis properties on several test benches during development. Mercedes-Benz and system integrator DynoTec Prüfstandstechnik rely on EtherCAT, TwinCAT and the ELM-series precision measurement terminals from Beckhoff for retrofitting.

04 September 2024 – Anritsu Corporation introduces a receiver test solution that supports the latest USB4 Version 2.0 (USB v2) communication standard with 80 Gbit/s data transmission speed, achieved by enhancing the functionality of the Signal Quality Analyzer-R MP1900A. Anritsu is contributing to the growth of USB4 v2 because this solution enables the evaluation of USB devices that transfer large amounts of data such as HD video etc. Anritsu will display the Signal Quality Analyzer-R MP1900A at ECOC 2024 at its stand C1.
03 September 2024 - Keysight Technologies introduces the Electrical Structural Tester (EST), a wire bond inspection solution for semiconductor manufacturing that ensures the integrity and reliability of electronic components. The semiconductor industry is faced with testing challenges due to the increasing density of chips in mission-critical applications such as medical devices and automotive systems. Current testing methodologies often fall short in detecting wire bond structural defects, which lead to costly latent failures. In addition, traditional testing approaches frequently rely on sampling techniques that do not adequately identify wire bond structural defects.

02 September 2024 – IPTE, a global provider of innovative testing solutions, announced the recent granting of a multi-million euro contract from a prominent European car manufacturer. This project signifies again a significant step forward for IPTE in the automotive sector, focusing on the development of an advanced test solution for electric vehicle (EV) battery packs. The initiative aims to address the growing demand for reliable and efficient testing methodologies as electric vehicles continue to gain traction worldwide.
30 August 2024 - In today’s fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environments, efficiency is critical. The UniCAD Converter emerges as a cutting-edge solution, transforming how companies handle CAD wiring data for testing and quality assurance. Developed by Adaptronic Prüftechnik GmbH, UniCAD is not just another software tool; it is a game-changer designed to streamline processes, enhance data accuracy, and significantly reduce time spent on test data generation.
29 August 2024 - COMPRION announced that its 5G conformance test system SIMfony CMX500 is now providing RedCap tests. The tests are carried out using the UT³ Platform conformance test system in combination with the Rohde & Schwarz CMX500 one-box signaling tester. GCF/PTCRB RedCap tests for USIM/USAT testing are based on the global standards 3GPP TS 31.121 and 3GPP TS 31.124.
28 August 2024 – To satisfy the growing global demand for current and voltage sensing driven by the push towards decarbonization and greater electrification, electrical measurement technology specialist LEM has opened new research and development facilities in Munich and Shanghai. The two new sites will enable LEM to build greater intelligence into its sensors and to have development bases closer to key customers, while also promoting deeper collaboration on projects and the efficient sharing of vital product design information.
