News - General T&M9.5 GHz Optical Sampling Oscilloscope15 October 2013 - The new PicoScope 9321 Sampling Oscilloscope of Pico Technology integrates a 9.5 GHz optical fiber-to-electrical converter with a high-performance, two-channel, 20 GHz PC Sampling Oscilloscope. This extends Pico Technology’s comprehensive serial data and eye diagram visualization to fiber optic data systems with bit rates up to 11 Gb/s and includes clock recovery. Agilent Technologies to split into two Companies14 October 2013 - Agilent Technologies announced plans to separate into two publicly traded companies: one in life sciences, diagnostics and applied markets (LDA) that will retain the Agilent name, and the other that will be comprised of Agilent's current portfolio of electronic measurement (EM) products. The separation is targeted to be completed by the end of calendar 2014. Rigol introduced economic 4 Channel Digital Oscilloscope09 October 2013 - Rigol Technologies introduced the DS1000Z Series digital oscilloscope, the latest addition to the Rigol scope family, featuring their UltraVision technology. The new DS1000Z is available in 70 or 100 MHz bandwidths and provides the performance expected from a modern 4 channel oscilloscope, but at the cost of a traditional 2 channel scope. Power Analysis Options and Wideband Probe for Rohde & Schwarz Oscilloscopes08 October 2013 - Rohde & Schwarz has added power analysis options and a new differential wideband probe to its portfolio of analysis solutions for clocked power supplies. Developers can use the R&S RTO-K31 or R&S RTM-K31 option to automatically perform all major quality analyses and conveniently document the measurement results. The new R&S RT ZD10 probe is especially ideal for the characterization of switching power supplies with high clock frequencies. AC Power Calibrations up to 100 kHz26 September 2013 - Yokogawa has recently upgraded its calibration laboratory which includes wideband and high accurate power-meter calibration systems as well as systems for calibrating oscilloscopes, recorders and optical products, and is therefore capable of calibrating most instruments in the test & measurement industry. The Yokogawa European Standards Laboratory has the knowledge and expertise to carry out calibration verification to the highest standards.
Modular Software for easy Development of Baseband and Vector Signals20 September 2013 – Agilent Technologies introduced the M9099 Waveform Creator, a modular software application that supports analog and digital modulation formats, for the Agilent M9381A PXIe Vector Signal Generator. The new software provides a simple, open and expandable environment that increases productivity and speeds time to deployment through superior connectivity with design and modelling software.
Tektronix expands Entry Level Oscilloscope Series with 4-Channel Models17 September 2013 – Tektronix announced the expansion of its TBS1000 oscilloscope series to include three new 4-channel models at 60 MHz, 100 MHz and 150 MHz bandwidth. Designed and built by Tektronix, the TBS1000 oscilloscopes are backed by a 5-year warranty for years of reliable electronics testing in research and development, education, service and manufacturing applications.
